Before I was posted here, I received several briefings about the threats facing this outpost. The heat, supply problems, and the dangerous groups who want to take over the Observatory just to name a few.

But now I realise how wrong all of those reports were.

• "Were they inaccurate?"

Not so much inaccurate as incomplete. I've come to think that the animals are a very serious problem, one too quickly dismissed by my predecessors. We spend far too much time fighting the animals instead of the insurgents.

The Rynoces and Drynacs are the worst of all. They're very bold, invading the Observatory whenever they feel like it.

I hunt them when I see them, but it is too much for Kibelle and I to handle along with our regular duties.

• "Maybe you need some help."

We'd sure be happy to have some help. I've heard about you from the Sentinels in Eltnen Fortress.

They say your skills are beyond compare.

Do you think you could help us take care of the Fierce Rynoces and Poisonous Drynacs?

• Accept.
• Decline.

Outstanding! Kibelle will also be grateful.

Please hunt some Rynoces and Drynacs, and bring me their Rynoce Claws and Drynac Tails to show to the others here.

I'm sure Kibelle and I can come up with a reward for you.

• "I'll hurry back when I'm done."

The Sentinels are having a hard time because Rynoces and Drynacs keep attacking the Observatory. Hunt them and stop the attacks.

Did you catch the Fierce Rynoces and Poisonous Drynacs?

• "Here's the evidence. See for yourself."

I’m sorry, but I told you to bring me 10 Rynoce Claws and 10 Drynac Tails.

I can’t get reimbursed for the reward I give you if I have no evidence.

So make sure you bring me all the proof.

• "I'll be back soon."

Wow, you really went through those Rynoces and Drynacs so quickly? You must be good.

Well, here's your reward then. Kibelle and I really appreciate your help.

Sentinel Dionera complained that she was having a hard time with all the Rynoces and Drynacs that attack the Observatory.

You hunted the out-of-control beasts, and brought her the evidence. She and Kibelle presented you with a reward.
