Update 5.0 replaces the title list in AION Classic Europe. Titles now come from Title Cards, converted titles pay out Title Badges, and the sources of title rewards moved. This guide covers how the system works and what happens to the titles you own.
How titles work now
- Using a Title Card grants its title. You pick an owned title from a list and apply it.
- An applied title is shown in a colour and size that depend on its type and tier.
- A title you own can be returned to turn it back into a Title Card.
- A new Title Card can be dismantled at Siel's Hammer for Title Badges.
- Title Badges are fusion material at the Altar of Transcendence.
- Title tooltips show the stat values of the title, and title descriptions now include Combat Talent values.
What happens to your old titles
Titles from the old list that are not kept convert into new titles or Title Badges after the update.
- A timed title with 30 days or less left pays out a
Rare Title Badge every 2 days. - A timed title with more than 30 days left is issued as a Title Card. After the first 30 days a
Rare Title Badge follows every 2 days for the rest of the time. - Title Card items from the old system are disabled. Dismantle them at Siel's Hammer for Title Badges.
- Titles saved in equipment set settings are reset. Set them again with the new titles.
Where title rewards come from
- Labyrinth of Echoes pays Title Badges in place of the Wandering Adventurer title fragments. The
Title Badge Bundle drops for every party member, and the Rare Title Bundle became a Title Card Chest (Normal to Rare) with an adjusted drop rate. - The Teva cleansing quests, the Tiamaranta Mesa quest [Golden Wind] [Daily] The Wise Golden Wind Life III (Elyos) / [Golden Wind] [Daily] The Wise Golden Wind Life III (Asmodians) and the Drakan Protectorate elimination quests now reward titles. Title rewards were removed from some other quests.
- The Guardian General in Apheta Beluslan awards different titles for the first hit and the last hit.
- Siel's Anvil has a recipe for the title Wandering Adventurer.
Rare Title Badges guarantee the crafting of Wandering Adventurer, Wandering Adventurer II and Wandering Adventurer III. - Title Cards that could not be used were removed from NPC vendor lists.

Rare Title Badges guarantee the crafting of the Wandering Adventurer titles at Siel's Anvil.
