Aid the Aether Collection is a level 31 Elyos quest in AION Classic 1.9. It rewards 72,500 experience, 7,000 kinah, 90 Abyss Points and Stigma Shard ×5.
Story
The offer
The air...it is filled with final, dying gasps. Ours, theirs...it almost doesn't matter anymore. Someone, somewhere out there is dying.
This war has gone on too long, and yet...there seems no way to stop it now. We fight our enemies for what amounts now to nothing.
Oh, forgive me, Daeva. I was merely... Well, anyway, I'm glad you're here. I've a job for you.
- "I'm ready."
The souls of the Ancient Asmodian Legionaries wander the Abyss. They bring us nothing but trouble.
I don't like that we two sides are fighting, but there's no reason for us to sit here at a disadvantage. I can't even collect Aether with them wandering about.
Will you help, Daeva?
- Accept.
- Decline.
Leave for Dryrock, then.
That island is where you will find the most Fearful Spirits and Restless Skeletons.
Be careful. There's no light on the island, which means favourable conditions for the dead...but not for you.
- "Thanks for the warning."
Journal
Defeat the Fearful Spirits and Restless Skeletons who occupy Dryrock so that Garpedo can collect Aether more easily.
Along the way
Daeva! You've returned.
Did you go to Dryrock? Have you slain the spirits?
- "I did as you asked."
Reward
Thank you. You've been a great help.
Please accept this, along with my thanks.
Completion
Garpedo said Asmodian spirits were keeping him from collecting Aether.
You went to Dryrock and got rid of the Fearful Spirits and Restless Skeletons.
