Entire villages are disappearing into the wasteland caused by the desertification of Eltnen. We must do what we can to protect them.

But it's all too much! I feel like I have thirty newborn babes and not enough arms to rock them.

• "Everyone wants something from you, eh?"

Oh, that's not all! The Centurion pushes us to the limit. First he has me feeding the villagers and now he wants me to arm them with Keraton Thorns.

He told me that the thorns are for the Watch's spearheads and arrowheads, which would be a good thing--if the Watch had any training. I knew this place was trouble the minute I set eyes on it.

• "Perhaps I could help you with that?"

Are you busy, Daeva? No? Ah, of course! It's the duty of all Daevas to help Humans.

All you have to do is to catch a few Needlethorn Keratones.

• Accept.
• Decline.

I knew that you would help me. There are plenty of Needlethorn Keratones if you go to Kuriullu Pass. Please hunt them and bring me five Keraton Thorns.

Oh, and hurry! I need them soon, or the villagers will complain and the Centurion will have my hide.

• "Faster than Gryphus my feet will fly."

You were told that materials are needed to make weapons for the Watch. Collect Keraton Thorns and bring them to Beramones.

You didn't return empty-handed, did you?

Give me the Keraton Thorns.

• "Here. Take the smelly things!"

Are you kidding me? You can't go back on your word now!

Go right now and bring me the Keraton Thorns you promised!

• "Right away!"

Aha! Just the Keraton Thorns I wanted.

I'm sure those critters weren't easy to deal with. Thank you. You've taken a load off my shoulders.

Beramones complained that she had too much work and couldn't spare the time to gather materials for the Watch's weapons.

You brought her Keraton Thorns to save her some time.
