Yesterday was payday...but instead of paying me in Kinah, Balom gave me this thing! He says it's precious...some sort of Aether crystal.

If it's so precious, why did he give it to me?

• "You may just have to take it."

Oh, Gorgon poo! You're right, of course. No one argues with Balom.

I need to find a way to turn this thing into Kinah.

I wonder...do you think that if I take this to a Handicrafting Master, along with some Platinum Ore, they could make something special?

• "It's possible."

But there is no way for me to get Platinum Ore. Oh, Balom makes me so angry! Why did he give me this...this...thing?!

Daeva, would you collect some Platinum Ore for me? If I can't sell it, I may have to go without food....

• Accept.
• Decline.

Ahh, Daeva, you are very kind. Unlike that greedy Balom...

Please bring me 15 pieces of Platinum Ore.

Platinum Ore can often be found in lava and basalt regions. So it would be best if you head off towards Mt. Musphel.

I will wait for you, Daeva.

• "On my way."

Collect Platinum Ore and take it to Karina so that she can make an accessory using the Aether crystal she had received as payment.

Did you collect all that Platinum Ore?

You ARE very skilled!

Here, let me see what Platinum looks like.

• "It looks like this...."

What?! You still haven’t left to look for the Platinum Ore?

I’m somewhat disappointed in you. I’m running out of time.

I should not be saying this as a supplicant, but please hurry.

Please bring me 15 Platinum Ore.

• "I'll get right on it."

Five, ten, fifteen...great! That's plenty to make an accessory with.

I really wish I didn't have to work for Balom...

I am very fortunate to have met you, Daeva.

Karina complained that Balom had given her an Aether crystal as payment instead of Kinah.

You brought Platinum Ore to her so that she could make an accessory with the Aether crystal and sell it. However, she paid you so much for your work that you started to wonder whether there was more to her story than she was saying.
