Anyone, Daeva or Human, becomes indolent if they languish in one place.

A rolling stone gathers no moss, as the saying goes.

It's sure not happening to me but these others? Blast!

• "What do you mean?"

Here I was feeling frustrated by this guard duty, but what was Terentius doing? Making useless armour!

The shade-blasted fool used Clodworm leather to construct some so-called armour. He might as well go starkers!

Don't tell me he's actually going to wear that shoddy thing. Dunderhead.

• "That does seem inadequate."

Basilisk Leather is a hundred times better than Clodworm Leather. Tan it properly and no half-decent sword can cut through it.

He's not listening to me right now. Thinks he knows best.

He might change his mind if he saw some real armour, so could you bring me sone Basilisk Leather?

• Accept.
• Decline.

Thanks for your help. I knew a veteran Daeva like you would understand.

The skin of Basilisk is coated with weak poison. It's of no concern as tanning removes it, but fools think the poison protects a Daeva in battle.

It's the leather and nothing else, and we'll show 'em. Please bring me some Basilisk Leather.

• "Happy to help."

Gairos wants Terentius to use Basilisk Leather for armour after seeing him making armour out of Clodworm Leather. Obtain Basilisk Leather for Gairos.

Did you bring the Basilisk Leather?

I've been doing my best not to say anything to Terentius, although I was sorely tempted.

He's only going to listen when I show him some quality armour.

• "This should do the trick."

I thought you were going to help me--one soldier to another.

If you didn't want to help, you should have just said so.

I know he's an idiot, but I want to help him, and to do that I need Basilisk Leather!

• "Oh, all right."

Look at that quality! A blasted Balaur'd have a hard time getting through this.

Time for me to teach Terentius a thing or two.

Thank you for doing this. This isn't much, but please accept my gratitude.

Gairos wanted Terentius to use Basilisk Leather for armour after seeing him making armour out of Clodworm Leather.

So at his request you hunted a Basilisk and obtained Basilisk Leather for him.
