Hey, Daeva. Are you headed to the Latheron Coast?

It used to be called the Latheron Straits, though there's nothing there now but sand and the ghost of a long-dead sea.

• "Have you ever been there?"

Do you have the spirit of a true Guardian? I can't abandon my post, but our numbers are few and the need is great. Would you be willing to help clear the way?

While most creatures on the coast are treacherous, the real dangers are Karnifs and Scolopens. Black Mane Karnifs slash with their sharp claws causing heavy wounds, while Poison Tail Scolopens have a virulent poison that weakens even the strongest Daevas, leaving them helpless.

There is little I can offer you but our thanks and the mention of your name in our blessings. You would be doing us a great service, though. Will you?

• Accept.
• Decline.

Faith and arms! You are truly Aion-blessed, and we will not forget you.

If you truly are chosen to aid us, eliminate Black Mane Karnifs and Poison Tail Scolopens on the Latheron Coast. Only Aion knows the number of lives you will save by ridding us of these threats.

• "I will return."

Diokuroi said that he needed your help to get rid of Karnifs and Scolopens on the Latheron Coast. Hunt Karnifs and Scolopens to help make the area safer.

Faith and arms, you've returned!

The light seems to have shone brightly on you, Daeva. Have you ventured to the Latheron Coast?

How many Black Mane Karnifs and Poison Tail Scolopens did you slay?

• "All that seemed needful."

Sun's blessings upon you, Daeva. Your work here shows you have the spirit of a true Guardian.

The road to Bab-el-Madeb is now safer because of you, for which we here at the Observatory are grateful.

A task done for its own merit is the best reward, but even Guardians must eat. Please accept this small reward as a token of our appreciation.

Diokuroi said that Daevas and Humans alike had problems crossing the Latheron Coast because of Karnifs and Scolopens.

He asked for help getting rid of those creatures. To aid him, you travelled to the Latheron Coast and slew Karnifs and Scolopens, earning his gratitude.
