(There is a folded paper in the jewellery box along with the necklace.)

(A letter, written in tiny, neat script begins:)

"My dearest baby boy..."

• "I'll give this to Arekedil."

Deliver the jewellery box containing the necklace and letter to Arekedil.

Daeva! Have you found my parents?

What's wrong? Are they dead? Did I wait too long?

• "You should read this."

A letter? What does it say...?

Oh. Now I understand why you were so quiet. And why you came back alone.

My mother is alive. But I can't meet her. I can't even speak to her. "Nobody may know the truth of our past," she says. It makes my heart ache so much!

When you opened the jewellery box Annemari asked you to deliver to Arekedil, you found a letter inside.

After reading the letter, Arekedil was distraught. His mother was alive, but he still might never meet her.
