There is a fire energy about you, Daeva.

Since you are not a Daeva of Flame, you must be carrying something with strong fire energy.

Anything related to fire rouses my curiosity--may I ask what you are carrying?

• "I have this Fire Sword."

Fire Sword? The real Fire Sword? May I see?

Ah, a good sword. Still...not in perfect condition. It has lost much of its fire energy.

It's too bad to see such a good sword having lost so much strength.

• "Can it be fixed?"

I may be able to revive the energy in it, if you bring me an item that has fire energy of its own--the stronger, the better.

If you bring me something suitable, I can try to imbue the sword with energy once again.

Would you like to try that?

• Accept.
• Decline.

All right. Well, Flame Spirits have the strongest fire energy of anything in this area.

Hunt the Flame Spirit and bring me its Flame Essence.

I should be able to use that to put the power back into your sword.

• "Thank you. I'm on my way."

Take Flame Essence from Flame Spirits to Garperos so that he can upgrade your Fire Sword.

Did you bring the Flame Essence?

I hope you appreciate what I'm doing for you.

• "Here."

I need both the Flame Essence and the Fire Sword to do this properly. What exactly do you propose I do with only one of these?

I'm unable to make something from nothing, you know.

Come back with both and I can help you.

• "I'll be right back."

Ah, yes...this essence is rich with fire energy.

Your sword will be very effective once I've finished restoring it.

Give me your sword...now give me just a moment.

• "All right...I'll wait."

It's done, Daeva.

If you have the chance to visit Sanctum, you should try to talk with the Daeva of Flame there. He knows much about this sword and can imbue with even stronger power.

For now, though, it is much better than before. Go, test its power.

After checking the Fire Sword you were carrying, Garperos concluded it had lost most of its fire energy, and would no longer work well.

As he instructed, you hunted Flame Spirits and took their Flame Essence to Garperos, who upgraded the Fire Sword to the Flame Sword.

He said that the Daeva of Flame in Sanctum could upgrade the sword to a higher level.
