It seems the mighty power of Bollvig still lingers, even with the Cursed Obelisk destroyed. I thought the Daevas whose souls he ensnared would be free from the curse, but clearly I was wrong.

I sent a message to Sofne at the fortress asking for her advice on the matter.

• "What did she say?"

She replied that destroying the Cursed Obelisk alone wouldn't end the curse--we must also call upon the power of our own Obelisk.

Until then, the Daevas whose souls it has ensnared will endure the torments of the undead.

• "What do we need to do?"

We must slay the cursed Daevas in their undead form. Their souls, no longer bound to the Cursed Obelisk, will return to our Obelisk here.

Here I may heal them.

• Accept.
• Decline.

Please free the souls of the Cursed Mage Shades, Cursed Priest Shades, and Cursed Warrior Shades.

They will fight you, of course, so be sure to take allies. Blessings of Yustiel upon you.

• "And on you as well."

Anto asked you to free the Elyos souls who remain undead even after the destruction of the Cursed Obelisk. Go to the Storm Circle and fight them.

I expected you'd be returning. Daevas have been resurrecting back here, and I've had my hands full taking care of their injured souls.

I told each of them it was you who saved them and they all asked me to thank you.

• "It was my duty."

Duty is nothing without compassion, and you've shown much compassion here today. Your task here has ended, and the rest is up to me.

Soul Healer Anto said that although the Cursed Obelisk is no more, the Elyos Daevas have not resurrected yet.

He determined that they must die and resurrect again to be purified. You went to the Storm Circle and sped the process along.
