Now that we understand what's going on, we need to stop it. Your first mission is to stop the Krall's Odium production.

They're using it to amplify their strength, but if it's properly refined it can also be used to open an Abyss Gate. We must not let them refine it!

I've been planning a mission to infiltrate the Kaidan Headquarters and undermine their refining capabilities.

• "How can you do that?"

We'll have to strike at the resources they need to enable their processing. As you approach the Kaidan Headquarters, you'll see a windmill. That windmill is used to generate the power to refine Odium.

There's an Old Gear attached to the windmill. Without it, the mechanism won't function, and it will take quite some time to replace. If you take out the Windmill Axle, the windmill will stop.

You're the one most familiar with that base. Will you take the mission?

• Accept.
• Decline.

Go to the Kaidan Headquarters, take out that windmill and come back.

Don't forget to bring back the Windmill Axle, to prevent them from repairing the windmill.

Every moment we delay gives them more refined Odium.

• "I'll teach them a lesson."

Break the windmill that supplies the Krall with the power to refine Odium.

• "Aha...this is the key part...."

Ah, You're back safely.

Have you carried out the mission successfully?

If so, then let me see the Windmill Axle.

• "Here it is. It doesn't look very important."

I know it seems like a small thing, but this is the key part, I assure you.

The Kaidan Krall will not be able replace it easily, so their operation should be stopped for the time being.

But we'll need to watch them carefully and strike again if they try to get it running.

Tumblusen said that the Krall were amplifying their power with Odium, and that you should help prevent them from refining it.

As ordered, you went to the Kaidan Headquarters and broke the windmill that was driving their refinery.
