We couldn't set up a full scale excavation site at Alukina's Palace, but just being here is fantastic.

A pity that our research has to compete with the greed of the treasure hunters. We seek understanding--they seek Kinah.

They'd defile the greatest of the ruins if they could turn a profit.

• "The lure of easy money..."

For archaeologists, there's nothing more important than exploring the ruins. Even when there's danger, we'll chance it.

The Seiren Whaletamers and Sea Crynacs we ran into last time were extremely dangerous, though. The last time I was attacked, there was barely enough for the Soul Healer to work with.

How about lending me your strength, Daeva?

• Accept.
• Decline.

Thanks. Your assistance will be a big help.

Deep inside Alukina's Palace, you'll find many Seirens gathered together--Seiren Whaletamers and Sea Crynacs.

Without their interference, the excavation will proceed much more smoothly.

• "Blood for blood!"

Destroy the Seiren Whaletamers and Sea Crynacs so Rubelik can do his work safely.

Now where did I put my Marshalltown trowel? And why is there Elroco dung in my satchel?

Never neglect your tools, my friend. Otherwise you'll end up digging with your claws.

Right then, what happened with the task I gave you?

• "You won't be bothered again."

That's great! I can resume my work tomorrow!

Thank you. We'll be safe for now, thanks to you.

Here. This is my token of appreciation.

Rubelik said the Seiren Whaletamers and Sea Crynacs are making his explorations difficult, and asked for your help.

You destroyed them as he asked, and he thanked you.
