Sigh....

Bragging, backstabbing, arguing... And they're brothers!

Making me track their stupid contests... Do they ever really settle anything?

• "You sound frustrated."

It's because of Karl and his brothers.

Every month, they bet on which of them is the best hunter, who'll catch the most game.

But they don't trust one another, so they make me arbitrate!

• "Go on...."

Every month I have to trek from camp to camp, tally their "victories" and hand out prize money to these braggarts.

I have my own responsibilities in the village, you know!

I'm the village scout! If something sneaks by here, Gefion will have my head!

Say... If I paid you, would you take over, Daeva?

• Accept.
• Decline.

Now, all you have to do is check in with Karl, Gunmarson and Kaibech. Give this money to whoever won.

I'd find Karl first. His campsite is in Moslan Forest near a watering hole. Can't miss it!

Thanks, and watch out for Mosbears!

• "I'm on it."

Find Karl and his brothers. Ask each how much game he has trapped this month.

Far from town, aren't you?

Looking for me?

Oh, so Lamir sent you, then!

• "Yes, to get your numbers for the bet."

I've trapped 30 Mosbears this month.

How did Gunmarson and Kaibech do? Did I win?

You came to me first? Well, go find my brothers so I can get my money! Gunmarson is camped by the Basfelt Hunting Ground.

• "I'll return if you won."

What brings you here, Daeva? Come for a story? I've got a good one to tell!

Last night I was thirsty, so I went to the river. As I bent to drink, a glint of light caught my eye right by the next pool.

As my eyes got used to the dark, I realised I was staring an enormous Mosbear--right in the eyes! Never seen one so big in all my years...

• "Uh, Lamir sent me."

Ah, so this is about the hunt? I only caught twenty this month, blight my luck.

Kaibech will have managed more, I'd bet. He camps way up in the Mosbear Habitat!

Marchutan's blessing...and good hunting!

• "Farewell."

Light blast you! I almost had him!

You just scared a prize Mosbear away with your racket, Daeva!

You better have a reason.

• "Well, it's about your bet...."

Oho! That's all they managed? Then I am proud to say the money is mine! I caught 35!

I did it! I did it!

I've finally surpassed my brothers! Thank you for bringing me such good news, Daeva. Oh, it feels great!

Lamir was tired of Karl and his brothers roping her into judging their wagers.

So you took over. You found Karl, Gunmarson and Kaibech, and asked each for their hunting total. Kaibech, who caught the most, took the prize.
