Whew! Sweaty work, this is. But I'm happy to do it.

No place better to be a smith, if you ask me. Daevas of Fire and Ice all over, so there's no need to worry about fire or water to cool off the iron. Nothing but top-quality work since I got here.

Hey, are you Daeva? The one involved with Kromede's Trial? I've heard stories, bits and pieces, and I'm intrigued. Can you tell me more about it?

• "Well, once upon a time...."

Just as I expected! Now I can finally get Dream Fragments!

Let me explain--Dream Fragments are something that blacksmiths like me consider legendary. They can change properties and shape according to the maker's will.

It's said that they were easy to come by when Aion first created Atreia, but during the cataclysm they were all lost. But if what you saw is correct, the creatures there must have Dream Fragments!

• "And you want...?"

How about this deal--you go back inside Kromede's Trial and get me my Dream Fragments, and in exchange I'll make you something that suits you.

I get what I want, you get what you want. It's a good deal for both of us. What do you say?

• Accept.
• Decline.

Great! From what you told me, there are many Manor Guards and Manor Defenders in this nightmare, so it's no walk in the dark. Just bring me the Dream Fragments that they sit upon.

This is so exciting! You should get going immediately. While you're out, I'll be making something special for you. You'll love it, I'm sure!

• "I hope so."

Enter Kromede's Trial and collect Dream Fragments for Walter.

I thought I heard you coming. Do you have the Dream Fragments? Please don't tell me you came here empty-handed.

• "Here's what I brought."

This is a breach of contract! Outrageous!

We had an agreement! You bring me Dream Fragments and I give you what I made for you.

I lived up to my end of the deal. You'd better live up to yours. Bring me the Dream Fragments as promised or I'll throw your gift right back in the forge.

• "No, don't do that!"

Could it be...the legendary Dream Fragments? Here in my hand?

I knew I made the right choice by asking you to help me. Look at these. The colours are so uniform. I will definitely make some amazing stuff with this. Wait and see!

Here's the reward I promised. May we work together again!

Based on your description of Kromede's Trial, Walter said that Dream Fragments can be found in the nightmare, and he asked you to collect the ones that the Manor Guards and Watchers sit upon.

You collected the Dream Fragments, and as contracted you received a gift in return.
