I knew I’d seen that scrap metal somewhere before!

This used to be part of a Petralith, Daeva!

You don’t know what that is? You dolt! There’s a dilapidated one in Reshanta! The Petraliths are ancient, and not much is known about them. We do know that their power was colossal, and the Balaur feared them, which makes this an exciting find.

• "It's some kind of weapon?"

Well, I don’t know if I’d call it a weapon. I mean, if I threw this lump of scrap metal at an Elyos Guardian’s head, I’m sure it’d hurt, but a blade would...

Oh, you meant the Petraliths... Yes, they were designed to annihilate the Balaur.

There’s a reason we don’t know much about them – their internal components were so delicate that most were destroyed by battle or time. But this piece you brought is solid... almost fully intact.

• "So...what does this mean?"

Is this something to do with Tiamat’s power?

I don’t know why, but we were lucky.

However, that doesn’t help us find out more. I need more materials.

Please have another look around in the place where you found this. If I’m right, then the remaining parts of the Petralith should be there as well.

You’re bound to track down more.

Please, Daeva!

• Accept.
• Decline.

It might be difficult for someone who’s not an expert to recognise the Crumbling Petralith....

Just look for wreckage that is emanating some kind of energy – that should be simple enough.

Quick now, hurry to the Petralith Canyon.

We don’t want the Balaur or the Elyos getting their hands on this before us!

• "On my way."

Gather the Petralith remains scattered across the Petralith Canyon and bring them to Helline.

I wish I was chasing down that blasted Padmarashka right now...but Batalrion and Olga will understand. This is part of the war effort.

Well, did you find the wreckage?

• "I found it--here it is."

Blast! You haven’t found it yet!

Hurry, Daeva!

It’s somewhere in the Petralith Canyon!

• "I'll keep looking."

Yes! This is it!

I hope it wasn't too hard to find. Chairman Vellun will be most interested in this...it could even be an answer to this stalemate of a war.

Take this, Daeva. It's all I have to offer right now, but I'll make sure the Chairman knows about your contribution.

Helline said the lump of scrap metal you found was actually from a Petralith, and that there should be other remains scattered around the area.

You gathered the remains of a Petralith in the Petralith Canyon and returned to her. She expressed her gratitude, and said she would mention your contribution to Chairman Vellun.
