The more I deal with you, the more impressed I am. Thanks to you I won this week's bet.

It sure was nice to finally win one.

• "Congratulations."

Considering it was your kills that won me the bet, I should be congratulating you, Daeva!

Anyway, I did manage to save my reputation, and for that I'm grateful to you.

In return, I've got some information you might be able to use.

• "Really? What is it?"

Did you happen to see Chieftain Dodum in the Calydon Village?

He carries a staff, and the rumour is it weakens the power of Aether. A few people have tried to get it away from him, but they've all failed.

You want to give it a shot? If anyone can do it, you can.

• Accept.
• Decline.

I knew you'd want a shot.

When you get hold of Dodum's Staff, show it to Nagrunerk.

He's been trying to hire someone to get that staff for a while now, so if you have it in hand you should be able to get a good price, for a Shugo.

• "I'm on it."

Oileus told you to get Calydon Chieftain Dodum's staff and sell it to Nagrunerk.

What about Dodum's Staff? Do you have it?! Have you acquired it?! Gah!

I mean, um...yes, Nagrunerk has heard of that staff. It is plain, and maybe only a little interesting.

Perhaps I would be willing to buy it from you, Daeva. For a low price.

• "I know you want this."

Oh, cruel Daeva! Getting Nagrunerk's hopes up and then dashing them on pointy rocks!

I think maybe nobody can ever get Dodum's Staff. Maybe I just give up.

• "Don't lose hope, Shugo."

Is it true? is it really Dodum's Staff?

Take this...worth more than Nagrunerk wishes to pay....

On your way, Daeva. The staff is mine now! Deal is done! Akakakak!

Oileus said that he won the Calydon Hunt Wager thanks to you, and gave you a piece of information as a token of gratitude.

He said that Nagrunerk has been trying to hire someone to get Calydon Chieftain Dodum's staff. If you got it first, he said the Shugo would pay well for it.

You obtained Dodum's Staff and sold it to Nagrunerk at a good price. The Shugo seemed very happy to have it.
