It took a long time for me to work my way up through the Lepharist ranks. During that time I saw a lot of innocent Asmodians being killed.

I just had to bite my lip and watch.

• "Sounds tough."

I do what I must for the Shadow Court. I wish I could rescue those poor souls, but that's not the Shadow Court's order.

It pisses me off when they send me on trivial missions like this when innocent people are suffering.

• "What's the mission?"

They want me to recover a book stolen from the Hidden Library of Pandaemonium. A book about the Empyrean Lord Israphel! What's that compared to a Human life?

Maybe you should take the mission instead of me. It makes me sick just to think about it.

• Accept.
• Decline.

I tracked the book as far as the Alquimia Research Centre, but I couldn’t investigate any further without blowing my cover.

I was thinking, though—one of those prisoners might have seen something.

If you find it, take it to Tristran in Beluslan Fortress. And if you see a chance to save those poor people, take it.

• "I will."

Go to the Alquimia Research Centre and see if any of the prisoners there know about the book you need to recover.

Daeva...here? I hurt...help...the pain....

• "Can you talk?"

Don't touch me...don't touch me! Don't do these things to me any more!

Aaaah...uhhh....

Dewi got an order from the Shadow Court to recover a stolen book, but he found it distasteful to rescue books instead of people. You accepted the mission for him and he suggested that one of the prisoners in the Alquimia Research Centre might know where the book was taken. You found a prisoner there who was still talking, but he slipped into unconsciousness....
