Krall are curious beasts, don't you think, Daeva?

They squabble amongst themselves day and night. Fights are common among the low ranks, presumably as peons make names for themselves. Even so, they are capable, highly skilled aggressors when properly organised.

It seems another attack is brewing, actually....

• "How can you tell?"

I know some Krallic, enough to work out their mood and some of the orders. It's a curious language, blunt and coarse. They have many terms where we would have one, or one term where we'd use several.

In any case, I have a proposal. I think we should change tactics and attack the Outpost. If my theory is correct, the Krall only attack when they have sufficient numbers.

By attacking, we could constantly thin their own numbers, thereby ending these raids on the citadel!

• "We'd choose the battlefield...."

Take out the Veteran Tursin Crackers and Veteran Tursin Loudmouths around Tursin Outpost.

Given their numbers, ten of each should tip the scale and prevent them invading Verteron Citadel.

• Accept.
• Decline.

Get out there to Tursin Outpost and cut them down.

Now, this is more than one soldier’s work. I would advise against going in alone.

Round up other Daeva looking to test their abilities. This is a good chance to learn how to work in a squad.

A squad of Daeva working together are more than the sum of their parts, Daeva. Your talents blend together, and you shouldn’t have any difficulties killing 10 Veteran Tursin Crackers and Veteran Tursin Loudmouths.

I'd heard of your exploits from associates both here and in Sanctum. When you arrived here, I knew I had to call on you. You've lived up to the rumours: you're a gifted Daeva indeed. Ariel herself smiles on such devotion and valor, and you have my gratitude, too.

I think Verteron Citadel can breathe easier for a little while; the Krall need time to replace those you've slain. If this quiets them, as I expect, I'll put my case to Sanctum to change our standing orders. Faith and arms!
