To survive in the desert, all must depend on one another.

• "Yes?"

Memnes, the Guardian, has always helped us.

Now I hear he needs help in return, but we have nothing to offer.

Would you help Memnes on our behalf?

• Accept.
• Decline.

Thank you, Daeva. Your kindness will not be forgotten.

Go to the Eltnen Fortress and meet Memnes.

Please do what he asks, no matter how difficult. He has never asked before, and has helped us greatly.

• "I shall do as he asks."

Demro wants you to help out Memnes.

Hello! Daeva, right?.

What business have you with me?

• "Demro sent me to aid you."

When I asked for help, I wasn't sure Demro understood my request. But here you are. You are truly honourable, to help out like this.

Coeus, a weapon researcher from Sanctum, asked me to find someone familiar with Eltnen.

Why? I cannot say. You will do nicely, though, so please go to him.

• "I do this for Demro."

A visitor? I haven't the time to give advice for free.

My research will not wait.

• "Memnes sent me."

Ah, Memnes sent you, did he? This changes things.

Sapiens are my field of study. Some have surprisingly sophisticated weapons.

I need someone familiar with the Eltnen tribes to bring me Kerubian weapons.

• "...I'll tell Memnes."

So, what did Coeus say?

• "He wants Kerubian weapons."

What? Why didn't he....

There was no point in sending you to far-off Sanctum; he could have just told me what he desired.

I'm sorry to have wasted your time.

Demro was much indebted to Sentinel Memnes in the Eltnen Fortress, and wanted to help him with his work.

When you went to meet Memnes, he told you to go to see weapon researcher Coeus in Sanctum because it was Coeus, not Memnes, who needed help.

But what Coeus wanted was Kerubian weapons. Coeus asked you to procure some of them.

You returned to Memnes and conveyed Coeus' message.
