You can't imagine how delighted I am to see you, Daeva. I'm in desperate need.

I should have listened! I should have gathered a search party!

But I couldn't just pace the village, wondering if my fiance was alive or dead....

• "Tell me what happened."

It's been two weeks since my fiance, Leinolz, left for the Traders' Berth at Seggurheim. He was making a delivery to the Shugos there.

He's usually home in three or four days, but nobody has seen him! And a trader coming the other way says he never arrived!

I have to find Leinolz. I couldn't wait for the Archons! I made my way this far, but I don't dare go any farther--there are so many Spriggs and Amphas.

• "You did all you could."

But I can't give up now! I have to know he's all right!

I wouldn't ask, but the valley road is so dangerous.... Daeva, would you please escort me?

If we travel the Seggurheim road, we may find some trace of my Leinolz.

• Accept.
• Decline.

Lords bless you, Daeva.

I'll rest here until you're ready.

• "I'm ready when you are."

Irehilt is seeking her lost fiance, Leinolz. Guard her on the road.

I'm sure we'll find him soon!

Now here is the Seggurheim road.

• "Stay close, Irehilt."
• "This is a fool's errand."

Irehilt! Here? Thank you so much for guiding her safely.

How could she have been so impulsive? Beloved, you could have been attacked!

If it weren't for this Daeva, it would be you we were searching for.

• "Actually, she's quite resourceful...."

I must stay here to straighten things out. But at least Irehilt's not crying any longer.

I thank you again for watching over her.

Irehilt's fiance, Leinolz, disappeared on the road. She was searching his trail through the dangerous Gribade Canyon alone.

You escorted her and reunited the lovers.
