This place is overflowing with Aether energy.... Taloc seems to absorb it like a sponge, and then it gets passed onto the creatures around it.

Which means...to collect this Aether we must first collect it from the creatures.

We have to harvest the Aether Gems formed in their bodies.

• "By killing them, I suppose?"

I'm afraid so, yes. It is the will of Aion.

The Hushblade and Wisplight Legions have their hands full battling the Balaur, so this duty falls to us, the Taloc Research Group.

But we Daevas of Life are already burdened with a hundred tasks a day! And my thesis...I can do no work on my thesis while I'm performing these menial tasks.

• "How can I help?"

Ahhh, I was hoping you would ask that!

I don't think it was a coincidence that you stumbled upon us out here. It was the fortuitous hand of Ariel's will that brought you here. So, may I count on your help?

• Accept.
• Decline.

Ah, thank you, Daeva. I seem to find myself in your debt more and more these days. I will give special mention to you when my thesis gets published.

I have discovered that the Aether energy is strongest in Vined Dionaes and Kingtree Rotrons.

I'm not sure what form the Aether takes inside these creatures, but it registers quite heavily within them. Whatever form, we need to collect it.

• "I'll start collecting now."

Obtain the Aether from Dionaes and Rotrons and bring it to Daeva of Life Adias.

Daeva, I was worried about you...it's been quite some time since you first left.

How did the Aether harvesting from the Vined Dionaes and Kingtree Rotrons turn out? Was it as we had hoped?

• "Here's what I collected."

It’s not as useless as you think.

We have to collect even the smallest amounts of Aether.

If we don’t use the power of Aether, we will never win against Tiamat.

So go quickly and get the Aether from Vined Dionae and Kingtree Rotron.

• "I will get it now."

Curse the shadows! This Aether is contaminated! It's murky and tainted with some strange colour.

Hmm, but it may still work for the Aether Cannons, though. I will have to purify it several times, but it may still work.

Thank you for your help, Daeva.

Daeva of Life Adias said that Aether energy could be felt from the creatures near Taloc and must be harvested.

When you returned with the Aether harvested from Dionaes and Rotrons, he said it was heavily contaminated but that it might still work.
