News about the Artefact has spread faster that a Shugo can nyerk! Letters are coming from Artefact scholars everywhere.

Did you run into a large Kerubiel named Achrael out there? According to this letter, he's the Artefact Protector.

The scholars say the Artefact has lost power because there's no Aetheric Field out there. They also said that I need an Activation Stone to operate it. Unfortunately the Artefact Protector probably has the stone.

• "That can't be good."

I need that Ancient Activation Stone! We need that power...

Find Protector Achrael and bring it back!

• Accept.
• Decline.

I feel I'm getting close to the secret of the Artefact. If we can tap into its Aetheric power, perhaps we can restore the sea and heal these lands...put a halt to this endless war...with that sort of power...well let's just say it'll change things around here.

Protector Achrael and the Ancient Activation Stone must be somewhere near the Artefact. Find them, Daeva. Please hurry!

• "Faith and arms!"

Protector Achrael has the Activation Stone necessary for the Artefact. Kill Achrael, get the Activation Stone and bring it to Atropos.

Daeva! You're back!

Did Achrael have the Activation Stone?

• "Yes. Here it is."

You can't find Achrael?

A Guardian recently saw him at Southern Latheron Coast. Go and look for him again.

I must have the Activation Stone. Now!

• "Keep your wings folded. I'm on it."

So, the old scholar was right. Let's see...hmm...I can see that it's an Artefact Activation Stone by its shape, but it looks ancient. I can't feel any power...I hope it's not too late.

Now I have to find out how this activates the Artefact.

Here, keep this. It's a token of my gratitude for your assistance.

Atropos said that information from scholars who study Artefacts suggests that Protector Achrael has the Artefact Activation Stone.

You went back to the Latheron Coast where the Artefact was, killed Achrael and brought the Activation Stone to Atropos.
