He said he was from some place called the Esoterrace, and that he knew where our Balaur prisoners went.

In fact, they used this very portal, which was hidden by some very sophisticated cloaking spells, at least until the Reian revealed it.

I wanted to go in, but I'm not trained for the combat I'd probably be facing. You, on the other hand, look like you could handle yourself....

• Accept.
• Decline.

Welcome aboard. Nepion is the name of the Reian I met. He said he'd be waiting on the other side of the portal.

I suggest talking to him first. Report to Daidra once your mission is complete.

I also suggest taking some allies. I don't know anything about this place, but I'm sure it's bad news.

• "With the Balaur around, I'm sure it is."

Ah! You must be the one the Elyos sent. Siel be praised for your presence. I'm sure you have many questions.

This place is called the Esoterrace. It alone is responsible for over half of the Drana produced in Tiamat's territories.

Your Balaur prisoners must have been moved further within. Here, peer into this Image Marble to see more.

• "Let's take a look...."

As you can see, this territory is vast, and full of danger. But you must face it if you want the answers you seek.

Go to the cliff nearby. My friends will open a Windstream to Narayama Canyon, at the base of the Esoterrace.

Keep the Image Marble. I suggest taking it to your superiors. It will help in your investigation of the Esoterrace.

• "Thank you. Walk in the light, friend."

Nepion, a Reian tribesman, revealed a hidden dimensional rift. Enter it and meet with him.

All right, I can brief you now. Just remember that everything I'm about to tell you is strictly confidential.

We tried everything to track the disappearing prisoners. We even disguised ourselves as captives with tracking spells. No success.

But then, this portal here opened out of nowhere, and a Reian came out of it.

• "A Reian? What'd he say?"

You must be Daeva. I have already been informed of your efforts on our behalf...as has Veille.

She is pleased that progress is being made on finding the Balaur prisoners. I assume you're here to report?

• "Yes, I bring news and this marble."

An Image Marble? Let's see... Oh. By the light.... To think such a place connects to our fortresses....

And it really produces that much Drana? We could cripple Tiamat's resources in a single stroke!

I'll let my superiors know about this at once. You can't imagine the service you've done for Elysea today.

The Sanctum Expedition Inspector told you that a Reian tribesman named Nepion helped reveal a dimensional rift within the Inggison fortresses.

You entered the rift and met with Nepion in a place known as the Esoterrace, a prime location for the production of Drana.

After some scouting, you reported to Daidra with the Image Marble. She thanked you on behalf of all Elysea.
