Azphelumbra! A Daeva who could help me!

Neparinerk's reputation is on the line! Reputation is all an honest Shugo has in this cruel, cruel world.

Neparinerk has a contract to deliver tools to Impetusium, but Crimsontail Amphas are blocking the path.

• "What do you mean, 'blocking?'"

Anyone who goes down that road either dies or retreats back here, covered in big sucker wounds. And if Neparinerk can't satisfy the contract...nyerk...big trouble! Nyerk.

Not to mention poor Gulkalla...his crews will fall even further behind if they don't have the tools to do their jobs.

Daeva, please help.

• "Want me to clear the road?"

Order: Meet Neparinerk and help him get new tools to Impetusium.

Yes, that's it! Clever Daeva! Kill the Crimsontail Amphas on the path to Impetusium.

It's good for everyone! Neparinerk makes the delivery, and you get paid! Akakak!

• "Sounds fair."

Gulkalla keeps asking me why the new tools haven't been delivered, and my fellow Shugos are scolding me for incompetence.

I am so tired of excuses--mine or yours. Did you get rid of the Crimsontail Amphas?

• "The road is clear."

Thank you, Daeva. I'd be laughing and dancing at this good fortune, if it weren't for another bit of bad luck.

The next tool shipment is due from Altgard at any moment, so Neparinerk can't leave! Neparinerk will miss shipment from Altgard, or miss delivering the shipment to Impetusium.

Such cruel, cruel fate! What should I do?

• "You need a courier."

Exactly! A courier to make one delivery while Neparinerk waits here for the next shipment! Daeva, will you help me again?

Take these sledgehammer heads to Banatisai in Impetusium. The remaining walls are so strong that the labourers are wearing out their tools.

Go quickly! This Shugo's reputation and Gulkalla's schedule depend on it.

• "I'm on it."

Don't bother me unless it is urgent. I'm busy making a new schedule...

...a longer schedule that reflects the Shugos' inability to make simple deliveries on time.

• "I have a delivery...."

Oh, these are the sledgehammer heads the Shugos promised us!

We're wearing out our tools at a breakneck pace, so we can put these to immediate use.

Thank you, Daeva, and thank the Shugos for me as well.

Neparinerk had a contract to deliver tools to the labourers in Impetusium, but Crimsontail Amphas were blocking the path to Impetusium. You defeated the Crimsontail Amphas.

Neparinerk asked for your help again. At his request, you delivered the tools to Banatisai in Impetusium.
