We've restricted access to this area for now because of the poison, but people are so headstrong. We won't be able to keep them out forever.

Pilgrim's Week will be especially hard, since this is the only way to the Miraju's Holy Ground.

Almost nothing can stop pilgrims--especially after they've come this far. The poison's not even the worst of it, though....

• "Then what is?"

The Slimes! Have you seen them?

Foul creatures--abominations that thrive around swamps. They poison their prey, then eat them alive. Smaller creatures get stuck in their translucent guts, fighting to get away as the Slime digests them....

I hunt them from time to time, but I can't stray far from my post. You could help though, Daeva! What do you say?

• Accept.
• Decline.

That’s the spirit! Now head out there and kill... let’s say... twelve of the Contaminated Slimes!

That should do it.

Just remember to be careful: their poison is potent and can catch you completely unawares. If you get poisoned, finish the Slime off, then go and rest up until you feel better. Faith and arms!

• "Faith and arms!"

Slimes are endangering the safety of people passing through the Contaminated Swamp. Help Roseino hunt them.

How did it go with the Contaminated Slimes, Daeva?

I trust you fared well?

• "I did."

Excellent! I'll have to get you a drink or two next time I'm back at the citadel.

Here you are, Daeva! I think you'll find this fair payment for all you've done.

Oh...I think this stench is getting to me....

Roseino said that Slimes make the Contaminated Swamp even more dangerous than usual. You killed several Slimes for her so the pilgrims can safely pass through the Contaminated Swamp on their way to the Miraju's Holy Ground.
