"There's no place like home." Do you know the phrase, Daeva?

Funny that I would only truly understand the value of it when I have no place to call home. Funny that I would only truly understand the value of friendship when I'm surrounded by enemies....

• "You're referring to the other refugees?"

No, actually. I'm referring to a huge Krall creature called Mabangtah.

You see, we were days into our desert crossing--our food and drink supplies had been consumed. We were exhausted; poor Ernia was too weak to stand, and we sat for a break...we were really just waiting to die.

Then young Teos saw them--a group of Krall approaching. He was terrified, as any boy would be, and ran to hide behind me. I was not afraid. A quick death at the hands of the Krall or a drawn out one from the elements...that choice was easy.

• "What happened?"

They marched right up to us. Then the front ranks opened up, and up stepped Mabangtah.

I bowed my head, but no blow struck me. Instead, they just walked away. When I looked up, they had left behind containers full of food and water! We couldn't believe it.

Their donation saved our lives. If I could, I would love to thank them. Could you look for them for me, Daeva?

• Accept.
• Decline.

Please, please take this handkerchief, and give it to Mabangtah. He'll probably not use it, but it represents my thanks to him.

Thank you, Daeva. Thank you for doing this.

• "It will be my pleasure."

Turiel told you how a Krall named Mabangtah saved her while she was crossing the desert. Thank him on her behalf.

White wing has business with Mabangtah?

White wing talk. Mabangtah listen.

• "I have a message for you...."

Mabangtah remember. Mabangtah followers see no-wings walking through deathlands. Mabangtah followers tell Mabangtah. Mabangtah follow no-wings.

Mabangtah keep no-wing gift. White wing pass on thanks for Mabangtah. Mabangtah happy. No-wing happy. All happy. Krrrrrrr.

• "Yes, all happy. Thank you, Mabangtah."

You are back? Did you find Mabangtah that quickly?

Please, tell me what he said.

• "He accepted the gift, and thanked you for it."

Then he liked it!

In all my days, I had never thought of the Krall as anything other than mindless brutes. This Mabangtah though, he is so different. Perhaps we have been wrong all this time....

Thank you for helping, Daeva. My eyes have been opened.

Turiel told you how a Krall had helped her when she was dying in the desert. She wanted to thank this mysterious Krall, known only as Mabangtah.

You agreed to find Mabangtah, and gave him a handkerchief that Turiel had made while expressing her gratitude.
