What were you planning on doing with Kromede's Tear, Daeva? Wearing it like jewellery is...rather unbecoming of you.

But if you melt it down and use its power with the Tome of the Judge, it'll greatly increase the potency of the book's spells!

• "Tell me how!"

Well, you'll need three things: Kromede's Tear, the Tome of the Judge, and a very talented blacksmith.

You already have the first thing and, now that you found me, you have the third thing. You just need the tome. If you can get that, I'll take care of the rest.

• Accept.
• Decline.

You should be thanking Ariel that you happened to find me, Daeva.

I truly am one of the finest blacksmiths in all Elysea. So good, in fact, that I have even mastered the art of refining Tomes. I can even tell you where to start looking for it....

You have nothing to lose, Daeva. The tome is with Kromede the Corrupt, at the Fire Temple in Asmodae. It's yours for the taking.

• "Easier said than done, Ukon."

Ukon said he would refine the Tome of the Judge for you if you brought him the needed items.

Did you bring the Tome of the Judge, Daeva?

Give me the Tome and Kromede's Tear, and I'll combine their strengths into one.

Shouldn't take long at all....

• "Here's everything you need."

Are you worried that I'll damage the Tome of the Judge?

I...I'm the most famous blacksmith in all Elysea, and you really think that I'll damage it?

If the Governor of Sanctum trusts me with his weapons, then you should too. Come to me with the tome and Kromede's Tear in your Cube. You won't regret it.

• "Not many blacksmiths work on Tomes."

Whew! That was a lot of work for a damn Tome! Who knew paper and leather could be so strong?

But it's finished...take it. Kromede's Tome is complete.

Go in her light now, Daeva.

Ukon said that Kromede's Tear would be good for strengthening the Tome of the Judge, and he said he would do it for you if you found the needed items.

You trusted him and gave him Kromede's Tear and the Tome. He kept his word and improved its potency, turning it into Kromede's Tome.
