I've heard your name a lot, Daeva. You seem to be the sort who attracts attention.

Many say you used to be a raider on society's fringe. And I've heard rumours that you're in contact with a certain...imprisoned dissident, let's say.

Then there's your record. In your short time as a Daeva, you achieved a great deal.

• "You flatter me, but what's your point?"

My point is this: All that attention isn't necessarily a good thing. People may be watching you, but some of them are trying to spot a hidden weakness.

Now more than ever, you should always be thinking about what you're showing others as you fight for Asmodae.

It wouldn't surprise me if you receive a summons from the Shadow Court someday. And on that day, you'll really need to watch your behaviour.

• "The Shadow Court, eh?"

Order: Phyper in Brusthonin has something to tell you. Go to Brusthonin and meet him.

Ah, Daeva! What brings you here today? I don't have a mission for you....

...Is it the Shadow Court? Something to do with them?

• "I've received a summons."

A summons? I don't know anything about that...

...other than this mysterious note. How'd it get in my pocket, I wonder?

The note says that if Daevas say they were summoned here, I should tell them to go in front of Triniel Coliseum.

• "Who would send such a message?"

I've no idea. It's not signed.

I've heard a little about the Shadow Court, and I know their schemes are so secretive that even the Shadow Judges don't know all the details.

But you're the one they summoned, not me. When you go to the Triniel Coliseum, talk to Garm--he'll tell you where to go, I bet.

• "On my way."

You want to know where summoned Daevas should go?

Sorry, but I have no idea what you're talking about.

I don't have any orders about summons or instructions to pass along.

• "Have you seen a Shadow Judge?"

Shadow Judge...? Um, I'm not sure...

There was someone walking up and down in front of the underground arena just a little while ago. Never seen him before.

You're welcome to go down the underground passage and look around if you like.

• "I'll do that."

What? Someone confined you in a prison crawling with all manner of monstrosities?

Unbelievable! I mean I believe you, of course...but what a tale!

I'll make sure the arena is secured. We'll get to the bottom of this, Daeva, no matter how long it takes..

• "You do that."

I had a premonition that you would come. A premonition!

But my rational mind couldn't figure out why you would return to me.

What happened to you, Daeva?

• "The Shadow Court imprisoned me..."

Hmmm...you answered a summons from the Shadow Court. Then you were dragged into a secret prison, but managed to escape?

I enjoy a thrilling prison escape as much as the next Daeva, but you must be more careful, Daeva. You could have disappeared from the world, never to return.

From now on, be on your guard. You don't know when they will attack you again...but they will.

Phyper in Brusthonin warned you about furtive observers and advised you to be careful, especially if the Shadow Court sends you a summons.

After that, you forgot about the incident. But one day, the summons to the Court came. You went to the Shadow Court and Khrudgelmir said he had received a note instructing you to go to Triniel Coliseum.

When you asked Arena Master Garm about it, he said he knew nothing about it. But he did tell you about a mysterious person at the Underground Arena Entrance, who might have been a Shadow Judge.

When you started to investigate this, you were ambushed by three people who knocked you unconscious. When you awoke, you found yourself in the Shadow Court’s secret jail. You were able to escape after defeating dozens of monsters and Koschei.

After returning to Khrudgelmir and reporting what had happened, he thought that there must have been a mistake and that he would look into it.

You were unable to shake your doubts, so you went to Ishalgen and told Munin what had happened. He advised you to be even more careful and warned that you could easily have disappeared from the face of the earth without a trace.
