Days likes today strike misery in my heart, mercenary! Why farm when all my hard work is devoured by beasts, hmm? I see no sense in this struggle.

If I could fight, I would, but I've no training, and the creatures are impervious to my blows.

• "Yours, but not mine. Can I help?"

Of course you can, but I thought I had to speak to you via Polinia! If not, I could certainly use your help.

It's the Grain Snufflers, my friend. They're sucking up all the seeds I plant, and ruining entire batches of crops in mere minutes. I need them dead before all is lost!

Could you help? I have a little Kinah left over that I could part ways with.

• Accept.
• Decline.

Oh, thank you so much.

Get me 4 Grain Snuffler Tails.

I trust you, mercenary.

• "Leave it to me!"

Grain Snuffler have invaded the farm and are causing problems, so Kales has tasked you with hunting them. Kill the Grain Snuffler and bring back their tails.

Hey, you're back already?

Do you have the Grain Snuffler Tails?

• "Right here."

This is just an expendable way for you to earn money, Daeva, but it’s a matter of life and death for me.

Stop fooling around and go and get those Snufflers.

• "I'm only getting started."

Look at how fat those pests got from eating my crops!

Perhaps I could cut the corpses open and retrieve my seeds? Hmm. At any rate, that's three fewer problems to deal with today.

Please, take this reward for your work. It's not much, I know, but until I get to market, it's all I can spare.

Kales asked a personal favour of you.

You got rid of the Snufflers stealing grain from his farm, and brought him their tails.
