"Hmm...there's some writing on it."

"It says 'This quartz grants the Virtue of Diligence.' I wonder who could use this?"

"Gaione was turned into a Tog as punishment for his laziness...."

• "I'll take it to Gaione."

Gaione might need the Quartz of Virtue you got from the fountain.

I don't think I'm ever going to be a Guardian again. My time is almost up, and I've only caught three thousand Potcrabs.

I just want to go lie down for a while. Is that so bad?

• "This is for you."

Is this a Quartz of Virtue? I have lots of these, and I'm still lazy.

But thank you for thinking of me. I'll trade you for this. It's called Hawk Eye--it helps you find lost things.

"Didn't Griffonix lose his baby? He might need this."

• "I'll take it to him."

They took my baby!

When I find the Shade-cursed troglodytes who took Dancing Feather...!

• "This will help you look for Dancing Feather."

I know about Hawk Eyes, and that's not what they're for!

But seeing you came all this way, take this Roast Dado. You can eat it on your way back.

"Maybe Wailing Moroch would like this--he's hungry."

• "Thanks, Griffonix."

Broiled Qooqoo... Broiled Qooqoo...it's been so long!

I want some Broiled Qooqoo...! Now!

• "How about a nice Roast Dado?"

A Roast Dado? That isn't exactly Broiled QooQoo, but I'm awfully hungry.

Will you take this Rolled Paper for it? If you hold it to your ear, you can hear faraway sounds.

"Lugbug was trying to hear an Artefact from far away...."

• "Thanks!"

I don't have eyes, you know, but I can see anything just by listening to the sound it makes.

But I can't tell how far the Artefact has gone. I can't hear it at all.

• "This might help."

THIS will help me hear the Artefact?

It's nothing but rolled paper! Listen--you can't hear anything!

Just take this and go.

You obtained the Quartz of Virtue from the fountain. It was supposed to make a person diligent, so you took it to Gaione.

But Gaione already had some of those. He gave you a Hawk Eye for your trouble.

You brought the Hawk Eye to Griffonix who was looking for his baby. He gave you a Roast Dado.

You brought the Roast Dado to Moroch, who gave you Rolled Paper.

You went to Lugbug with the Rolled Paper, but he said it was useless.
