Oh, hey Daeva.

I showed Hjuki that mithril you brought back. I hoped he could figure out how to extract the impurities, but he said it'd cost more than the metal's worth.

I guess it was worth trying, but it's puzzling--the book I read said that mine is famous for its purity. I think there's only one place the mithril can be.

• "Where's that?"

I'm guessing that the miners were always prepared for Balaur attack, so they left the impure mithril laying around as a decoy.

If something happened and the miners fled, they'd take the pure ore with them and leave the junk ore for the enemy to find.

See where I'm going with this?

• "Not yet."

The miners fled the mine, taking the ore with them, but they never made it back. Instead they died and became undead.

I'm betting that if you go to Brusthonin Mithril Mine and search Undead Drudges and Undead Diggers, you could hit the mother lode.

But hey, don't take my word for it....

• Accept.
• Decline.

You look doubtful.

Please, believe me. Go search them.

Those miners became undead and they've still got the ore on them. I'm sure of it! Go to the Brusthonin Mithril Mine and see.

• "Can't hurt to check."

Sjazi claimed that Undead Drudges and Diggers must have the mithril that's missing from the mine. She asked you to defeat some and search them.

Imagine how luxurious and wealthy life was in Brusthonin long ago.

Huge crop fields, mines of rare ores.... Ah, if I could enjoy only half as much wealth, I'd be set for life!

Did you check out my theory?

• "Is this the ore?"

No, it's not.

I'm sure the undead have the mithril. Please just go defeat some Undead Drudges and Undead Diggers and see if they have it.

• "We shall see."

Wow! I knew you could do it! Look at these samples.

They're small but very pure! I knew it! Woo! I was right!

Here's your share, and thank you!

Sjazi said the Undead Drudges and Diggers might have valuable mithril ore. She asked you to investigate.

You went back to the Brusthonin Mithril Mine, searched the belongings of Undead Drudges and Diggers and found the pure ore that Sjazi predicted.

You took the ore to Sjazi, who was very delighted to have been right, and to have the pure ore.
