You're just the person I need for the job. I want you to go to the Abyss in my stead.

I was hoping to defend with just these troops, but we've reached our limit.

It was wishful thinking from the start. We have the Balaur invading through the Abyss Gate, as well as Lepharist Revolutionaries and Krall.

• "What will I be doing in the Abyss?"

I have a letter I need to get to Sakmis, the Brigade General of the Grey Wind Legion. We urgently need more troops in Heiron.

What's the point in fighting in the Abyss when the Balaur are already at our back door?

• Accept.
• Decline.

Don't show it to anyone but Sakmis.

Asmodian spies could be anywhere. If they knew about the new Abyss Gate they wouldn't hesitate to attack.

Faith and arms.

• "Faith and arms."

Deliver Perento's letter to Sakmis, the Brigade General of the Grey Wind Legion in the Abyss.

What business do you have with me?

• "A request from Perento."

I'm afraid I must decline Perento's request. We're hard-pressed to deal with the Asmodians here as it is.

I thought Perento was supposed to be quite the up-and-coming young General. Perhaps he's not all he's cracked up to be.

I'll send a letter back to him explaining the situation. Dismissed, Daeva.

Perento needs reinforcements in Heiron. He sent you to Brigade General Sakmis to request reinforcements. Sakmis refused the request.
