Wait, wait!

Can I ask a favour of you, if you’re on the way to Melponeh’s Campsite?

I have something for the General Trader Lonian.

• You ask what kind of favour it is.

He’s an acquaintance of mine who unexpectedly asked me for a potion yesterday. He said he had been feeling weak of late and had been finding it difficult to make sales during the day.

The potion in question is made of rare medicinal herbs, and since we are not close friends, I simply told him that I didn’t have one.

He then said he’d reward me handsomely if I brewed the potion for him once I had gathered the medicinal herbs. I declined his request at first, but he was so persuasive that I reluctantly agreed in the end.

After Lonian had gone, I thought about it: I don’t know why I promised something so stupid. Those medicinal herbs are so difficult to find!

• You keep listening.

That’s why I distilled a similar-looking schnapps.

Could you deliver this Wine Bottle to Lonian in Melponeh’s Campsite for me?

In truth, it’s a mixture of resin and alcohol.

Yes, it’s usually used to repair leather armour. It’s non-toxic but it tastes terrible,

Lonian will have the power he wanted to regain, so I’m not really conning him!

• Accept.
• Decline.

Excellent! I wish I could be there to see it myself, but I think we both know that he won't want to see me afterward. Or if he did, I certainly wouldn't want to see him, eh?

Hopefully, once this is over, Lonian will have the sense to not bother me anymore.

• "Here's hoping!"

Namus asked you to do something for him. He wants you to take the potion Lonian had asked for to him in Melponeh’s Campsite.

Hello there, Daeva.

I'm sorry to greet you looking like this, but I've been so tired lately.

It's this heat! I asked a woodcutter to give me a potion for it, but he's all out.

• "Namus sent me with this, and his regards..."

Wonderful! He found the herbs he was looking for! I'm sure this'll do the trick. Oh, and here's his payment by the way, it's worth it!

Now... let's try this! Bottoms up!

ACK! ARGH! ARGH! UGH! What is this?!

Ugh! If this is medicine, I'll stay sick, thank you. Tell Namus I won't need any more tonic. Just water. Someone please find me some water!

The woodcutter Namus was annoyed that he had promised to brew a potion for the General Trader Lonian and wanted to play a trick on him.

You took the potion to Lonian and received a reward for it.
