I have received urgent dispatches from the Eltnen Observatory and Sataloca's Tomb.

They both felt a suspicious flow of Aether--as if an Abyss Gate had opened.

You know what this means, Daeva.

• "Balaur."

The Gate must be sealed. Take the Abyss Gate Key you acquired last time, that’ll get you through.

But before you go to the Kaidan Headquarters, meet with Mabangtah and ask him for help.

Mabangtah doesn’t want the Kaidan tribe to be subjugated by the Balaur. He will do his best to help you.

• "I shall do that."

The Kaidan Krall have opened an Abyss Gate. Meet Telemachus to receive your mission.

Once you pass through the Abyss Gate, you should meet up with our advance forces on the other side. They’ll appraise you of the situation.

When I received word from the Observatory and Sataloca’s Tomb, I sent more people through the Eltnen Abyss Gate.

But now I don’t know what the situation is like there. When you get through the Gate, following their orders.

I will pray to the Empyrean Lords, for Eltnen and all Elysea, that we can stop the Balaur.

• "Aion watch over us."

Mabangtah feel something change in the air. White wing know?

• "The Abyss Gate has opened."

No! White wing close gate!

White wing take Mabangtah's Secret Remedy.

White wing take in time of need!

White wing go!

• "Thank you for the aid."

What delayed you? The situation grows more dire each passing minute.

• "I came as swiftly as I was able."

I have been blocking the gate to the Balaur world, but I cannot hold it shut much longer.

With your help, I can destroy it completely. I shall let them open the gate, and then work on destroying it.

You must defend me against the Balaur that shall pour through. Stop them, no matter what.

• "I will slay them in Sanctum's name."

Thanks be to Lady Ariel! We did it! The gate is destroyed!

Eltnen is safe, for now. I shall send you back to Brigade General Telemachus, that you may tell him the joyful news.

• "Then I bid you farewell."

You came back. The Abyss Gate must be destroyed, then.

• "After a great effort, yes."

It sounds like a battle for the ages!

The Balaur are stepping up their efforts to reclaim this world. I suspect they will try again, elsewhere.

Your task is done for now, Daeva. I shall send warnings to the other Fortresses, let them know the Balaur could be coming for them.

After receiving a report that the Kaidan Krall had opened an Abyss Gate, Brigade General Telemachus ordered you to go to the Kaidan Headquarters, meet Mabangtah and ask for his help. Mabangtah gave you a remedy to increase your defences.

When you arrived at the Kaidan Headquarters and went through the Abyss Gate, Kimeia was struggling to stop the Balaur from opening the Gate.

Blocking the gate was only a temporary solution...to prevent any further Balaur invasion, it had to be destroyed. The problem was that the Balaur would attack Kimeia while she tried to destroy the gate.

You held off Draconutes and Nagas while she used magic to destroy the gate. You finished the mission successfully and went to Telemachus, who heaped praise on you.
