Not using bait's a total novice mistake. That's his problem.

• "I kind of figured."

Of course you've got to use the right bait, too. You can't just stick anything on your hook and expect to get a bite. Again, just like life.

• "Sure...so, what should he use?"

Well, he's in the Grey Fog Marshes, and the fish there like Rynoce Meat. I can give him a recipe for some special bait that's sure to have the fish jumping at his hooks.

• Accept.
• Decline.

You can get Rynoce Meat from the Horned Rynocees in Eltnen.

You'll need to mix it up with some Kukuru Powder. Luelas in Sanctum carries that.

• "Got it."

Get Rynoce Meat and Kukuru Powder, the ingredients for bait, and take them to Gamedes.

What did Ben have to say?

• "You need this bait."

Air? But that's what I've been using!

• "Hang on, I'll get what you need."

Bait! I didn't even consider that. I knew Ben would have the answer!

Ben told you how to make bait out of Rynoce Meat and Kukuru Powder. You gathered the ingredients and took them back to Gamedes.

When you took the Rynoce meat and Kukuru powder and delivered them to Gamedes, he was delighted.
