Story
The offer
I’ve had a look around and discovered something huge in the High-Security Zone.
Daeva, do you have any ideas?
Corridors to Atreia.
There were lots of open passageways connected to various places.
- ‘Corridors leading to Atreia?’
They probably serve a variety of purposes.
For one, they must use them to bring Daevas here, ones that they’ve abducted from Atreia to turn into students at the manor.
It’s also a way for the Balaur’s trained and indoctrinated Daeva soldiers to infiltrate back into Atreia.
Their ultimate aim is to plunge Atreia into chaos and subject it to Balaur rule. That’s the only option.
It’s really quite… abominable.
- ‘We have to stop them.’
Journal
Talk to the Mysterious Helper and think about how you want to tackle the corridors in the High-Security Zone.
Along the way
Yes, we have to. We’ll just continue with our original plan.
There are corridors and corridor connection devices for keeping the corridors open in the High-Security Zone.
We’ve got to destroy the connection devices to close the open corridors.
I’ll give you the bombs I’ve prepared.
Plant bombs on the Atreian Corridor Connection Devices, and blow up the corridors and basement at the manor to thwart the Balaur’s plans.
- You accept the helper’s bombs.
Daeva, I’ve got all the Daevas to safety!
It will all be over when I press the detonator connected to all the bombs.
Leave it to me. You take the last corridor and get out of here…!
- ‘I can’t let you do this. I’ll take responsibility because I was a Balaur student. I’ll detonate the bombs.’
You… want to take sole responsibility for this?
Daeva, I know you’re stronger now, but it’s too dangerous.
What I’m doing…!
- You insist emphatically that you don’t have time for this.
Daeva, you’re really brave and sincere.
And equally stubborn…
Oh, fine then. I’ll leave this place to you. Don’t you dare die.
We made a promise. We’re leaving the manor together.
I’ll go on ahead and wait for you. Come and find me.
My name is Sara. Sarakiel.
- You end the conversation.
We’re almost there, so hold on just a little longer.
Now we’ll bring back your last memory.
Close your eyes, let your surroundings fade and concentrate on yourself.
You’ve slowly got used to the process, haven’t you?
- You slowly lose consciousness and feel like you’re floating.
You’re back, Daeva.
Did you find your last memory?
Do you know now… who I am?
- ‘Sarakiel… Sara, it was you. My comrade, my teacher and my helper.’
Reward
It’s a pleasure, Daeva.
I’ve been waiting for this moment.
I hope you remember my name.
I hope you find your way back to your old self.
Completion
The Mysterious Helper said she discovered corridors in High-Security Zone Level 1 that are connected to various locations in Atreia.
She was of the opinion that the Balaur use these corridors to abduct Daevas from Atreia, and then to smuggle them back into Atreia again once they have been manipulated.
When you were installing bombs on the devices that apparently open the corridors, you encountered Kumanka.
Kumanka made fun of you and you killed him, which also went some way to avenge your friends.
Before you could catch your breath, the helper appeared having evacuated all the Daevas, and she told you that you didn’t have much time.
She said she would set the detonator and told you to leave, but you insisted on taking responsibility and staying behind.
The helper gave up and said she would wait for you, and told you her name.
The helper’s name was Sarakiel.
Hearing her name completed your memory.
You opened your eyes and saw Sarakiel’s face. Then you realised that she was the comrade, teacher and helper who had been helping you all this time.
