Faith and arms, Daeva. Well, my initial crystal estimates were incorrect. I assumed five crystals would be enough for my experiments. I was way off guild with that figure.

The only thing constant about science is its watery flux, am I right? Ha ha ha. Ahh, I could go on and on.

What I'm getting at is, I'll need a few more Earth Crystals. Two crystals to study their influence on Aether, one to balance the metasis phase, another one to...

• "Just tell me how many!"

Oh, oh, sorry about that. Once my mind gets started, it can't be quieted and it can't slow down.

Five. Five Earth Crystals are what I'll need.

And since scientific experimentation holds no ember in the fire of your heart, I'll prepare a reward that I know you will appreciate.

• Accept.
• Decline.

Oh, you are an exceptional friend to the sciences!

You should be able to locate a good batch of Decayed Terra Spirits and Quake Spirit near the Lepharist Research Centre. You'll know what to do from there, I assume.

May the Lady of Light be with you. It's the most terrifying place I've ever had the misfortune of visiting.

• "Faith and arms."

Dispose of the Decayed Terra Spirits and Quake Spirits around the Lepharist Research Centre to obtain the Earth Crystals for Kalione's research.

Hmmm, interesting...interesting...its terra-mass has more than doubled since--

Ah, Daeva, you're back! I was just wondering where you were. Any luck with the Earth Crystals I asked for?

• "Five Earth Crystals, at your command."

I believe I made it very clear that you'd encounter Decayed Terra Spirits and Quake Spirit when procuring Earth Crystals.

Apparently, this is more frightening for you than I'd thought... and having already used every sample I had! Now I have nothing left.

In the name of science, please keep your word! You don't realise how valuable those five Earth Crystals are to me... to all of Elysea!

• "I'll see what I can find."

These samples are exquisite...beautiful! I couldn't have done better myself.

I'll be sure to include your name in our reports, Daeva. You may indeed have a career in the sciences if you want to give up being a Daeva.

Yeah, I didn't think so either. You'd rather break bones than study them. Here, this is the reward I promised you for your help.

Kalione asked you to bring her at least five Earth Crystals for her experiments.

After you destroyed the spirits around the Lepharist Research Centre and returning with the crystals, Kalione was very grateful.
