Arieluma, Daeva. Looks like Sanctum has finally authorized the use of those Aether Cannons! That should help our war efforts, eh?

Because of that, we've been given new orders. We're to drop all of our prior assignments and begin collecting Aether.

That used to be the duty of the Daevas of Life, but I guess they're not as efficient as everyone assumed.

• "They're doing their best."

Well, their best is not good enough...apparently. That's why my Wisplight Legion has been called in to take over the search.

But that's a good thing! Now I can finally show my superiors that the Daevas of Life aren't the most important Daevas here. Not that we are either, but we're at least equals.

But I am worried...we haven't fought in some time. We've grown a little slow lately. Our swords haven't left their scabbards in many days.

• "It'll come back to you."

I hope, my friend. I hope.

Since you're here, would you mind helping us out? We could use a Daeva with your experience.

It's nothing too serious...just a nice slice-and-dice job.

• Accept.
• Decline.

I hoped you would say yes. You're the Daeva I trust most for these situations.

Please, my friend, get rid of those Brohums and bring back Brohum Fur.

I have heard that their hair holds large amounts of Aether. And since you'll be out there, could you also bring back a Portable Aether Refiner so I can refine the Aether?

• "It shouldn't be a problem."

An order has gone out to collect as much Aether as possible for the Aether Cannons. Bring Brohum Fur and the Disposable Aether Refining Device to Crosia.

When I mentioned our new order to the Daevas of Life, their fragile smiles turned to frowns. They realised that we are now in Sanctum's good favour.

So, did you bring Brohum Fur and the Portable Aether Refiner?

• "Here's the Brohum Fur and Refining Device."

Most Daevas say they'd like to help...but they never do. Like you, Daeva. Just like you. It's never a problem until it's right in front of your own face.

But you'll eventually realise that this problem involves us all. I know you'll bring me Brohum Fur and a Portable Aether Refiner at some point.

I just know it.

• "Perhaps, my friend."

Ah, many thanks, Daeva. Many thanks.

And you've brought back quite a lot! This will really show those Daevas of Life a thing or two about who's better.

Here, take this. I must reward you for this. You've gone above and beyond what I hoped for.

Crosia said there was an order to concentrate on collecting Aether for the Aether Cannons.

She asked you to get rid of Brohums and bring back their Aether-filled fur, along with a Disposable Aether Refining Device, which you did. She thanked you and gave you Mithril coins.
