Most say the Abyss is a land of desolation and danger, but it has a fragile beauty all its own. Take Lake Asteria for instance, or the Asteria Chamber.

• "I've never been there."

It doesn’t make sense that the Balaur are here.

Didn’t they turn their backs on the Tower of Eternity and Atreia long ago?

Those who rebel against Nature’s laws have no right to be in the Asteria Chamber.

Would you go to the Asteria Chamber and crush our enemies, Daeva?

Show off your skills and raze them to the ground, Daeva.

• Accept.
• Decline.

Remember that you must eliminate every last one of the Balaur. If you don’t think you’re up to it, you can take some comrades-in-arms with you.

This is a mission where you may even obtain several treasures. There’s an enchantment on the treasure that causes it to disappear after a certain amount of time. So, you’d better be quick.

When you’re ready to go, simply knock on that beautiful landscape painting up there.

The power of magic will lead you to the Asteria Chamber.

• "Okay..."

Carry out Varden’s order and kill the Balaur in the Asteria Chamber.

How is the Asteria Chamber doing?

• "Covered in Balaur blood."

That should make it all the more beautiful, then. I shall have to visit when I'm off duty.

Varden received an order to reward anyone who dealt with the Balaur in the Asteria Chamber. You took the task on.
