A student researcher has hired us to bring her Bitterwing's Root.

As always, the pride of Charlirunerk's Daemons is at stake. We must not fail!

1. Name: Bitterwing

2. Location: Dragonrest

3. Details: This Wraithling is said to communicate to others of its kind through its roots. Client wishes to study this mechanism.

The roots must be cut out of the creature immediately after defeat to be worthy of research.

- Charlirunerk, Founder, Charlirunerk's Daemons -

• "Time to play gardener...."

You have an assignment from Charlirunerk's Daemons. Carry out the request.

What do plants "talk" to each other about? "Hello"? "How are you"? Very confusing, nyerk!

But that is what client is trying to find out! I hear she is daughter of rich family, so she could afford to hire us!

Bitterwing must talk a lot to be so interesting! Do you have progress to report?

• "Yes, I do."

Actually, no, you do not! Report tells me how to tell Bitterwing's Root from regular plant root!

Client knew that Daevas would have difficult time telling, or try to pull fast one! Hope you were not doing that....

Bitterwing's Root is what client needs, so you had better do what she wants.

• "She'll have it soon."

Hmmmm. Yes, it matches description client gave us. Still looks pretty normal, though.

If I put this to my ear, will I hear it talk? Would I understand what it is saying?

Oh well, client will be very happy either way. Good job, Daeva!

You received an assignment from Charlirunerk's Daemons to acquire a plant sample from Bitterwing, a powerful Wraithling, for research.

You fought the vicious creature and cut off its root for the client. You received a Daemon Token for your hard work.
