How did it feel back when you were confronted with the prophecy, Daeva?

I wonder whether we’re acting of our own volition here and now, or whether we’re unknowingly being led by some unknown force.

And if that’s the case, what’s the best way for us to react?

When I faced up to the prophecy, I arrived at my own response, but what do you think?

I’m curious to hear your conclusions on this and would like to discuss it with you, as it is my belief that this will bring us closer to the end of our journey.

Excuse the long speech. Tell me more about it next time.

Are you ready to hear the next prophecy?

• You nod.

Hm…

(The high priest’s facial expressions, gestures and voice change.)

The day will come when Daeva, future hero of Atreia, will claim a narrow victory on the Chantra Dredgion or Dranium Battlefield.

(The high priest’s facial expressions, gestures and voice return to normal.)

Do you understand what I’m trying to say to you?

• You ask what a ‘narrow victory’ means.

Listen to the prophecy from High Priest Balder and follow its instructions.

Hm… I think it means a victory with a points difference of less than 1,000.

But you’ll take to this task like a duck to water, too.

Even if I don’t know whether that depends on the lord’s will, or yours.

Come back to me once the prophecy has been fulfilled. A Destiny Fragment will be waiting for you.

May Atreia’s peace be with you on your journey.

• You end the conversation.

Greetings! Did you follow the instructions?

Tell me how it went.

• You recount your experience.

Nice work. You will remember this for a long time to come.

The joy that comes after hard work is all the sweeter.

This is a gift from the lord. I hope it’ll help you on your way.

May Atreia’s peace be with you on your journey.

You listened to the next prophecy from High Priest Balder.

The day will come when Daeva, future hero of Atreia, will claim a narrow victory on the Chantra Dredgion or Dranium Battlefield.

Once the prophecy was fulfilled, you returned to Balder to tell him about it and received a Destiny Fragment as a gift.
