Simply put, there are too few of us and too many of them.

If it was just water and earth spirits, we could control their numbers. They've spawned others, though. Now there are soil spirits, terra spirits, lake spirits and mist spirits!

We could use your talents here. Will you help us?

• Accept.
• Decline.

Excellent. A demonstration of force should do nicely.

Will you focus on the Earth Spirits or Water Spirits?

• "I will shatter Earth Spirits!"
• "I will blast Water Spirits."

Just as I expected! I knew you would select Earth Spirits, Daeva.

When Angreboda hears this, she will be ecstatic. Go to her. She will tell you what to do.

• "The task is mine."

Just as I expected! I knew you would select Water Spirits, Daeva.

When Gullveig hears this, she will be ecstatic. Please go to her. She will tell you what to do.

• "The task is mine."

Many people have been attacked by rising numbers of Spirits roaming the area. Help Angreboda and Gullveig to reduce the number of Earth Spirits and Water Spirits on the Fall Road.

The view from the Observatory is spectacular, don't you think?

The ruins, the sparkling lake, the Nepra trees shrouded by fog. The beauty of it moves me to poetry!

Humans are reluctant to travel here because of the Nepra tree mist. Some think it creepy, but it's so lyrical! Shall I recite some of my verse?

• "I'm sure it's lovely, but..."

Not one for poetry eh? No matter, someday you can read my book in Pandaemonium.

Humans are right to be cautious. There are spirits in these lands, and their numbers are increasing.

Now they've pushed out to the edge of Fall Road where they attack travelers.

• "Why is that?"

Don't just stand there staring! What do you want?

If you're looking for help with something, I'm much too busy.

I have plans of my own to attend to.

• "I'm here to hunt Earth Spirits."

What? Well, why didn't you say so?

• "I've come to hunt Water Spirits."

Perhaps it's the influence of the volcano, but the Earth Spirits rumble and frequently attack travelers.

Now that you're here, I'm most encouraged. I think I've gained a powerful ally!

Really? Did you just say you would hunt Water Spirits?

What a relief! I was worried about how to both guard the Observatory and harrow the Water Spirits--there are so many of them....

Thank you for your assistance, Daeva.

Tyr, the Aetheric Field Protector, asked you to lend a hand defeating the teeming numbers of Spirits in the area.

He asked you to go to Angreboda to hunt Earth Spirits or to Gullveig to hunt Water Spirits.
