All right, Daeva, I think I figured out why I keep on...missing success. Not failing, mind you! Success is simply eluding me at the moment.

So I'm changing direction. Rather than birth a new Spirit, I will try to summon an existing Spirit...a Fire Spirit. Like the little spurt of flame we saw earlier.

Set the bar a little lower for now, you know. Grease up the works a bit first.

• "Probably a good idea."

I know this will work, Daeva. I assure you that once we get the proper incantation material, you will see dozens of Fire Spirits popping out all over the place.

So what I need now are the head feathers of the Steelbeak Gryphu.

Fourth time's a charm, right? Can you help me out again?

• Accept.
• Decline.

Thank you, Daeva. I take back what I said earlier about the...about the...well, I take it all back. Really.

So, I'll need Gryphu's Head Feathers. You can pluck them from the Steelbeak Gryphus at the Inggison Outpost.

Everything is going to work out this time, I know it. I have a sense for these types of things.

• "Hope springs eternal."

Apparently, it is possible to summon Fire Spirits by using a Steelbeak Gryphu's Head Feathers. Get some for Teressa.

I can't seem to wipe this smile from my face, Daeva! This is it! This is going to work!

I'm actually going to summon Fire Spirits of Balaurea! And you will bear witness to my success!

You brought the Gryphu's Head Feathers, yes?

• "Here's your feathers."

Daeva, your promise is a wooden bridge connecting me to you...and you just lit that bridge on fire! You'll kill us both if the fire of your lie consumes us!

I'm begging you this time! Please bring me Gryphu's Head Feathers before all the Steelbeak Gryphus fly away.

• "I'll get your damn feathers!"

You saw it, right? You saw it? I actually summoned the Fire Spirits of Balaurea! I got shivers all over just thinking about it.

I truly am a genius, Daeva! I mean, I knew it.... I've always known it. But now all of Elysea will know I'm a genius!

I owe a lot of my amazing success to you, Daeva. Well, I owe a decent-sized portion of my success to you, how about that? Can we settle on that?

Teressa is abandoning summoning new spirits for now, and will instead try to summon Fire Spirits.

So you did as she asked and brought her Gryphu Head Feathers, and she successfully summoned some.

Teressa was overjoyed with her success and expressed her gratitude to you in her own peculiar way.
