Have you seen the Black Blaze Spirits around here, Daeva? They may look similar to the Fire Spirits we have back home in Elysea, but I assure you, they are entirely different.

Watch their movements and perhaps you’ll see. The energy they emit is more unpredictable than their Elyos counterparts, and they seem to be more prone to violent outbursts than other spirits.

If I were to hazard a guess why, I would probably look at the nearby Petralith remains.

• "Do you know much about it?"

Not enough, unfortunately. What we do know is based on little more than legend and extremely limited research.

At any rate, it certainly seems to affect the nearby species, and while we cannot move the Petralith, we can try and cull the number of Black Blaze Spirits here.

• "Even with the Balaur about?"

Even with the Balaur about, Daeva. We must balance our priorities, you see.

We have several Daevas ready to attack, but now I need someone to deal with the Black Blaze Spirits. What would you say if I were to offer you the job, Daeva?

• Accept.
• Decline.

Your reputation for helping those in need is well deserved, I see! Thank you, Daeva.

Please hurry and destroy ten Black Blaze Spirits. We'll be watching you, and we'll do our best to alert you of anything coming from above.

Faith and arms!

• "Faith and arms!"

The Black Blaze Spirits are getting in the way of the Guardians defending the Krotan Rock. Help Myrrha dispose of Spirits.

Has your work been completed, Daeva?

Centurion Menelaus came for me a moment ago actually, and was breathing fire and spitting acid, as usual. The sooner the problem with the Black Blaze Spirits is sorted out, the sooner he gets off my back.

• "Well, my work is done."

Oh, thank you Daeva!

Such speed, too! I'll report back as soon as I can to Menelaus, maybe then he'll find some other poor sap to scream at.

Myrrha told you how the Black Blaze Spirits had become violent under the influence of the Petraliths and had begun interfering with our military preparations. She asked you to eliminate the spirits.
