(A Shugo document tied up with a ribbon.)

(Smartinerk’s initials are at the bottom of the document.)

(You should take it to Smartinerk.)

• You finish investigating.

Find Smartinerk and have him examine the Shugo document you obtained on Tiamaranta Mesa.

Whoops, on the way to Tiamaranta Mesa I lost all the Shugo documents I wanted to give to the Daevas.

If a Daeva finds an [Event] Shugo document on Tiamaranta Mesa, Smartinerk will examine the document for you.

• ‘I’m asking you.’

(Carefully unrolling the document.) Oooh, this document! What does it say again, nyerk?

Oh fiddlesticks, Shugo can’t read it any more.

Looky here, Daeva, see if Daeva likes the size of one of these missions. If Daeva completes one and pleases Shugo, Daeva won’t leave empty-handed.

Make up the mind, Daeva, nyerk!

After you happened to obtain a Shugo document on Tiamaranta Mesa, you visited Smartinerk at the legion garrison to have the document examined.

Smartinerk gave you a choice between three missions, and promised you a reward for completing one.

You chose one of the three missions.
