I have a request for you. It's a small thing, really, but you'll be doing an old lady a good deed.

Please say yes?

• "What can I do?"

It's my son. He's been so kind to me lately, taking me in now that I can't take care of myself. He's so busy, and he thinks I don't pay attention, but I do.

I heard him saying he needs some new gloves, but I hardly think I know what the youngsters are wearing these days. I've been looking around, and you look like one of the best-dressed here, so I thought you'd know. What kind of gloves should I get for him?

• "How about some Brax Gloves?"

That's a dear. I have some more business in town, so I'll still be here when you have them.

• "I won't be long!'

Hinjel would like some Brax Gloves as a gift for her son.

Well, that was quick! Do you have the gloves, or are you back to tell me they've sold out?

• "It was these you wanted, wasn't it?"

Oh yes! Beautiful! Well, thank you very much for your time. I'm sure that my boy will love these.

Now, here, take this. No, no, please take it. My sister-in-law gave it to me, but I think she's going senile. I must've told her twenty times that I'm allergic to the fur.
