I'm in big trouble, Daeva! Unless...maybe...you saw some colourful wool socks on your way here?

Bright yellow ones. You can see them a mile off.

• "Socks? Not that I've noticed."

Ohhh, I was really hoping you wouldn't say that!

The very first year they let me help with Solorius, and I go and lose Rangidax's Socks! Well, actually, I didn't so much lose them as they disappeared. But either way, they'll never let me do this again if I don't get them back.

Can you please find those socks for me?

• Accept.
• Decline.

Goody goody! I've been waiting for years to do this, and I'd hate people to think I'm irresponsible.

I'm not 100 percent sure, but I think a good place to start looking for the socks is with the Ruddy-Nosed Grankers. They have some kind of weird sock fascination or something! Either that or they just can't stand festivals. Anyway, they dress up like Rangidax and do their sneaky sock-stealing thing.

• "I'll sniff them out!"

Find Rangidax's Socks and bring them to Mayer.

Ohboyohboyohboy! You got them!

You did, right? You got them all?

• "Right here."

Hmm, these don't look like Rangidax's Socks. Don't smell like them, either! Are you sure you didn't just pull these out of your dirty laundry cube after some battle in the Abyss?

Now, I don't need just any old socks. I want the ones that the Ruddy-Nosed Grankers took, got it?

• "Got it."

Yay! ...oh. But there's nothing inside.

Maybe it was too much to hope the gifts would still be in there. Oh boy am I in trouble. Maybe if I make something to put in there? Yeah, that could work.

Oh, sorry, forgot you were still there. You did the best you could, so please take this.

You found Rangidax's Socks that the Ruddy-Nosed Grankers stole, and brought them back to Mayer. She asked if there was anything inside.

When you told her there was nothing, she sighed and gave you a little reward.
