Ah, Daeva!

I'm so glad to see you!

It seems that word of your prowess has spread far and wide. I have a message for you.

• "A message for me?"

Protector Likesan from Sanctum is looking for you. Tumblusen received a message from him.

It seems to be something important. Do you think you can go to him now?

• Accept.
• Decline.

Likesan is at the Protectors Hall.

I'm sure he'll be glad to see you.

• "Thank you for the message."

Likesan is looking for you. Go to Sanctum and meet him.

Welcome, Daeva.

I need a Daeva to go on an important mission. When I asked around, everyone recommended you.

So I sent a message to Tumblusen to watch out for you.

• "What kind of mission?"

It's very sensitive. I understand you've handled difficult missions with discretion before, so I'm counting on your skills here. Recently, fake Stigma Stones have begun circulating in Atreia.

This is causing enormous problems, so I did a little investigating and I think the Black Cloud Merchants are involved.

Unfortunately a formal investigation will cause an uproar, so I need someone discrete, but...effective. I think Kierunerk at the Outer Dock knows something. See what information you can get out of him.

• "I'm sure I can persuade him."

What fake stigma? Only a humble trader am I! I know not anything about Stigma Stones.

Never seen or heard about any fake Stigma Stones!

Akakakak!

• "I will only ask you nicely this one time...."

I don’t know anything about it! Akakakak!

Wait, let go!

Okay! Chicorinerk in Eltnen might know something about them. Believe you must!

Does business near the Lepharist Bastion. Very secret he is! Hiding from Lepharist Revolutionaries.

Hard to find! But he is your Shugo!

If Daeva wants to know, ask Chicorinerk they must, nyerk.

• "You better not be lying."

What? Why ask something like that?

What is 'fake stigma' you squawk about? I never heard of one before!

Is it something edible?

• "We can do this the hard way, then."

What, what do you mean...? You scare me. Honest I am.

Only...I do know that fake Stigma Stones come from the Abyss.

Nothing more I know! Akakakak!

• "If this isn't true, I'll be back."

Welcome, Daeva.

How did your investigation go?

• "The Shugo talked once I explained the situation."

I bet they did. Nicely done. It's surprising to me that the Black Cloud Merchants don't know more. Only that the stones come from the Abyss?

We will have to go to the Abyss to investigate further.

Thank you for your help, Daeva. And your discretion.

Dionera, a Sentinel at the Eltnen Observatory, told you that Likesan, the Protector of Sanctum, was looking for you. When you went to Sanctum, he said that fake Stigma were circulating, and asked you to investigate.

As you interrogated the Black Cloud Shugo, you found out that the fake Stigma came from the Abyss.
