I have watched over the years as the land turned from green to brown, from brown to grey.

Arbolu's blessing is all that keeps this village from succumbing to the contamination.

• "Can it be stopped?"

That's what I've been trying to ascertain. Have you been to the Grey Fog Marshes?

• "Briefly. It's a gloomy place."

Dreary and dangerous, to be sure. The Slimes and Mudthorns there seem to bear the contamination in its purest form.

I need to gather Contaminated Samples from them for my studies, but I'm not much of a warrior. You seem to be, however....

• Accept.
• Decline.

Blessings of Yustiel upon you. You may take the samples from both Clayfoot Mudthorns and Fog Slimes.

Ten should make for an adequate sample.

• "I'm on it."

Get samples of contamination off of Mudthorns and Slimes in the Grey Fog Marshes.

I hope you've gathered the samples. I promised the Lyceum I'd send them a report within the fortnight.

• "Will this do?"

You'll need to gather better samples than that.

• "Okay."

That'll do quite nicely. Take this token of my gratitude, and may Yustiel always smile upon you.

Erone wanted to study the contamination, but didn't have the combat skills to get samples from the monsters. You collected them in her stead and brought them back to her.
