The staffs you brought showed some interesting discrepancies.

• "How so?"

If you look at the costumes and monuments in Hanarkand, you can see that the village is clearly Tiamat's. It bears all of his marks, tastes and symbols.

But look at this staff! The engravings imply wind, but Tiamat's symbol is earth. Why would priests in one of Tiamat's villages carry symbols of wind?

I tried to research why, but couldn't find any connection.

• "That is odd."

Maybe another Dragon Lord has influence in this area? Or the village follows some Brigade General--under Tiamat--who is important enough to have an identifying symbol?

Their village leader, Elder Zanuta, must know what's going on, but obviously I can't interview him. We can, however, see if he's recorded anything.

• Accept.
• Decline.

On my last foray into the field, I saw Zanuta talk with some priests and then scratch something onto his crystal. Maybe Zanuta's Memory Crystal will reveal the truth.

What secrets will it reveal? Oh! This is why I research.

• "We'll find out together."

Obtain Elder Zanuta's Memory Crystal for Sulinia's research.

The Balaur Memory Quartz looks lighter than a book and seems to have an endless capacity for information. Where does all that data go?

Somewhere in Balaurea, there must be a giant library where the Balaur store a huge amount of information.

I wish I could see that library.

• "Will Zanuta's Memory Crystal do?"

Truth may be hidden, but it never disappears.

Why haven't you gone to Hanarkand for Zanuta's Memory Crystal yet? Look inside yourself for the answer.

• "Because I'm a bad Daeva?"

Sorting through this disorganised information and Drakan slang is going to take a while, but it'll be worth it. How precious this slice of Drakan life!

To thank you for all your help, I've got a little reward here for you.

Sulinia asked you to bring her Elder Zanuta's Memory Crystal to discover why Tiamat's priests' staffs didn't bear his symbol.

So you went back to Hanarkand and brought the Memory Crystal. Sulinia said her analysis would take some time.
